PRIMARY FUNCTION:(one year contractor staff)Utilizes ProE Wildfire 5.0 software to designs 3D models and drawings of components and assemblies as required for integration of Clutch and Transmission products into Customer vehicles in collaboration with application and sales engineers, Interfaces with customers and vendors as to the proper interpretation of technical drawingsProvides engineering technical support to required projects of Vehicle China CVT engineeringWorks with VG engineering team on technology transfer of new products etc.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Utilizes ProE Wildfire 5.0 software and Eaton CAD modeling and drawing standards effectively for creation of component, sub-assembly and final assembly models and detail drawings. 2.Utilizes ProE Wildfire 5.0 software to support creation of customer Installation drawings, to support customer drawing change request and support service department for parts illustrated information.3.Utilizes DFMEA, GD&T, stack-up, and tools to access new or revised design robustness.4.When appropriate, part time job as a backup bill of material recorder could setup the customer BOM in Oracle 11iSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:1.Education background: A college diploma or above and major in mechanical engineering. 2.Working experience requirement: 5 years or more 3.Language level requirement: Good communication skills and coordination capabilities4.Technical skill requirement: Utilizes Drafting/Design Standards, 3D Modeling Standards, DFMEA, DG&T, stack-up5.Software : Good skills for ProE Wildfire 5.0 and AutoCAD
