Stripes

Stripes are a classic way to decorate furniture that can be seen coming back now and then. Often they are used to make flat surfaces more interesting and point out its dimension. When it comes to organic shapes, stripes follow the curves of the object and highlight its volumes. When strips are deliberately broken and shifted, an optical illusion sets in, changing the shape of an object visually.

条纹是装饰家具的经典元素，不定时地卷土重来。通常它们被用来给单调的平面增加趣味，同时突出其维度。被用在有机形状的产品时，条纹跟随物体的曲线，突出其体积。刻意打破或是移动条纹，产生视觉上的错觉，在视觉方面改变物体的形状。
